Used when tying your horse first attach the Equi-Ping to the metal ring on your stable wall or horse trailer. Then tie your horse s lead rope to the Equi-Ping. If your horse spooks or panics and pulls back the Equi-Ping is designed to ping open when approx. 176 lbs. of force has been reached to help avoid injury to the horse. Totally reusable! Once opened the Equi-Ping can simply be re-attached to the metal ring and the mechanism pushed back together for re-use. Effective between 20-25 times before it needs to be replaced in most circumstances. Features a security sleeve that slides over the mechanism with 2 small bump stops to hold the sleeve in place. Set Includes: When using the Equi-Ping for the first time we suggest you push only 2 of the arrowheads into the mechanism and slide the sleeve over.
